We opened our doors to the public on 19th August 2005. It has been a very steep learning curve and
we have enjoyed our first winter season. We are particularly pleased with the popularity of Sunday Lunch
and look forward to starting those again this autumn.
We launched our summer menu on 1st May and Sundays now see us offering freshly barbecued meats and vegetables as well as our summer menu which includes soup, salads, sandwiches, paninis and our
Northumbrian specials:
Ploughman's Lunch
The best of local; our sugar-baked ham, cheese, free-range egg, chutney, bread and butter.
Bywell Smokery Platter
Smoked fish, chicken and cheese served with salads, chutney and Herb Patch dill sauce.
Moorhouse Burgers
Moorhouse delicious beef, lamb and mint or pork and apple burger. Served with salad garnish and Vallum coleslaw. |
